What web accessibility is
Web accessibility means that people with disabilities can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with our website. We strive to provide an experience that is as seamless as possible for all users, regardless of their abilities.
Accessibility adjustments on this site
Camp BraveSight has implemented accessibility features in accordance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines, aiming for AA compliance. Our website is designed to work with assistive technologies, including screen readers and keyboard navigation. We have taken several steps to enhance accessibility, including:
- Utilized accessibility testing tools to identify and address potential issues
- Specified the primary language of the website
- Organized the content logically throughout the website
- Created clear headings and navigation structures
- Provided alternative text for all images
- Ensured color contrast meets accessibility standards
- Minimized motion effects on the site
- Ensured all multimedia content is accessible
Partial compliance with the standard may be declared due to third-party content.
Certain pages on our site may contain content that is not produced by Camp BraveSight, belonging to third-party sources. Therefore, we declare partial compliance with accessibility standards for these specific pages.
Accessibility arrangements in the organization
Most physical locations we will access are equipped with accessibility features, including designated parking spaces, ramps, and accessible restrooms. We strive to ensure that all areas, from entrances to service desks, are navigable for individuals with various disabilities. Our camp is an adventure based camp and we will be adventuring in some natural areas that do not come equipped with accessibility features due to the nature of being an outdoor area. However, we will do what we can to ensure accessibility for all in our camp.
